The Miami Marlins season is once again abou to begin…but this time around it’s a bit different, a little more excitement and a lot of potential with many new prospects added this offseason in Miami. Miami has added some big name guys like #1 International prospect out of Cuba Victor Victor Mesa and a pretty big return piece in the J.T. Realmuto trade especially with the Marlins recent struggles on the mound RHP Sixto Sanchez will be a huge building block in building a contender within the next few years in Miami.
The Marlins are in a deep NL East Division especially now with slugger OF Bryce Harper signing with the Philies making them the favorities to win the division. If the prospects start moving up quickly this rebuild could show results a lot sooner rather than later but you want to take your time and do it right so you’re not a one and done team and guys like Lewis Brinson have showed promise here in Spring Training so far as opposed to not doing so well in the Majors last season.
I do indeed see the MArlins as a 60-70 win team this season and will impress the rest around the MLB on how soon the Marlins dynasty will come.
Thanks so much for you time, Alex Mesa
